Refresher Course Part Deux

I have no idea what that means but it seems to make her calm her down when she says that, and I'm happy to oblige.

Okay, back to refreshing human memory. I get questions about the number of commandos because Jed McNeil is Number Nine and no matter how many names people count, they come up with...seven. Strange, huh?

Okay, story time, sandcrabettes. Gather around Uncle Eight Ball.

A few years ago, an operation went wrong and half of our Viruses were killed in action. It left COMCEN in shambles because Number Nine and Number One went missing for a while too. Okay, a long while for Number One. Anyway, it took a merger of sorts with GEM to get our act together again, 'kay?

It also took a period of time to regroup because five missing/dead COS Commandos was a Big Thing. To make things worse, another of our commandos were killed in action while looking for his friends. That was the darkest moment at Center. I couldn't even explain to you how it was back here.

Jed McNeil (never could figure out why he went off but 90 percent probability he had business to take care of)

We did find two replacements: Shahrukh Kingsley and Armando Chang, both of whom are still trying to be all they can be, if you know what I mean. Life continues, operations were reworked, and revenge takes a long time. But we're getting there. I may be just a program but I know what getting even means. We aren't just going to get even, though. We are going to destroy Maximillian Shoggi. We don't talk about Mad Max much any more but he's Enemy Numero Uno around here.
